💝
I 💝LOVED💝 it!!!
When I read the book as I did with the 1st one, how the characters displayed their emotions was the same as how the characters with the book "A Monstrous Place."
I would say that the scariness rating for this book would be a 4 - 5, because "The Identical Boy" is a bit scarier than the 1st book "A Monstrous Place."
I recommend this book to people 6 - and everyone above.

Thank you. Peace
Interesting and scary and sad and happy. For a little while I was worried about where the story was going, but I was very happy about how it ended
Despite the grammatical and spelling errors this book was pretty good. It was creepy, but not too creepy. Good story line, but the characters of the parents could have been fleshed out more.
Interesting and weird. This guy does a great "goosebumps" or "darkseid" like writing. Between is a cool and not so cool place all at the same time. read and enjoy.
I loved Matthew's first book, A Monstrous Place, and this one did not disappoint! I thought it was very Ray-Bradbury-esque in its creepiness and imagination. I couldn't put it down. I'm a huge fan of intelligent middle-grade fiction, and this book is right up there with my favorites. Can't wait for more from this talented author!
A lonely boy finds a friend in that world between being awake and asleep. That is basically what happens. No spoilers.

This story is definitely worth a read, a real page turner, you'll want to know what happens next.

It's been sitting there, waiting for me to read for a while and I am glad I finally did.
